Responsible to the Nurse Manager – Health Service, the Acute Care or Maternity or ED/OT or Aged Care [Deputy] - Health Service is responsible for the day to day nursing and midwifery (if applicable) management of the designated services in the site.
This position is also responsible for a broad range of Nursing & Midwifery operational and professional matters including professional standards and practice, workforce and nursing workloads.
Where/when the site manager is not present, the Nurse Manager – Health Service, Nurse Manager Acute or Maternity or ED/OT or Aged Care [Deputy] assumes the site manager role; particularly so during periods of leave, short or extended absences.
